This is a simple guide for jailbreaking iOS 5 using redsnow!*not for iPad 2 or iPhone 4S*
WARNINGS
*warning 1* this jailbreak is semi-teathered, i will update the post once the unteathered comes out(this means that if your iDevice powers out or is switched off, when you turn it back on, only the extensions that are provided by apple will work i.e. camera, phone etc. All other apps and safari will not work!
*warning 2* If you have an iPhone 3GS or 4 which is unlocked,please do not update to iOS 5 yet since there is no customized baseband yet!

GUIDE
OK so lets get started -
step 1- download the two files given above!
step 2- connect your device to your computer and switch it off.
step 3- open redsnow, and follow the onscreen instructions. put your device in DFU mode and proceed!
step 4- select install cydia when prompted to.
step 5- your device's screen will now flash and blink, don;t worry it is part of the process.
step 6 -click on redsnow and click on "just booth teathered"
step 7- open up cydia and search -"semi teathered"
step 8-click on install and then confirm. click on restart springboard.
step 9-connect your Device to your computer again and open redsnow, click on extras and click on "just boot teathered"
Congrats you have successfully jailbroken your iDevice on iOS 5!
